When you step into the store, you are welcomed by a calm, minimalist atmosphere that invites you to explore the beautiful stoneware and imagine how it might be used in your own home. Here, you can experience how stoneware can transform even everyday meals into something special.
Behind Ancher Studio is Elisabeth Snejbjerg, a ceramist and designer with over 20 years of experience, who has always had a vision of creating tableware that can withstand daily use but still feels like small works of art. In 2023, she took the next step and founded Ancher Studio in collaboration with Rainmaking Innovation and a family-owned Polish ceramics workshop that produces some of Europe's finest stoneware. Together, they combine Elisabeth's design vision and many years of experience with the ability to create sustainable and scalable production.
The collections are used by many Copenhagen cafés and restaurants such as Original Coffee, Cadence, and Høst, but Ancher Studio also offers direct sales to private individuals, so everyone can share the joy of elegant tableware.
