Calma

Calma is a cozy French-Italian bistro located on trendy Jægersborggade.

On the cobblestoned Jægersborggade lies a small, cozy bistro: Calma. Jægersborggade, located in the diverse neighborhood of Nørrebro, has transformed from an anonymous street into one of Copenhagen’s trendiest and most vibrant areas. The small bistro Calma blends beautifully into the lively street, and inside, guests are met with an atmosphere reminiscent of a stylishly modernized apartment — warm, inviting, and homely. The interior is decorated with Danish wood design, colorful artwork on the walls, and a wood-burning stove that completes the cozy, home-like feel. From the restaurant, there is a view into the open kitchen, where French-Italian inspired dishes are crafted. Behind the restaurant are some of the city's best chefs and servers: the two servers Kristine Slott and Nicolai Martens, and the two chefs Andrea Calducci and Christian Marquard. Together, they bring experience from Michelin-recognized restaurants such as Kong Hans Kælder and Formel B. Calma has also been recognized by Michelin, which has awarded the restaurant a Bib Gourmand for its flavorful and reasonably priced food. The wine list is extensive and offers something for every taste. Along the restaurant’s walls, wooden shelves filled with wine bottles add to the atmospheric charm.
